I'm a dentist and I routinely recommend Crest 3D Brilliance. I also use it personally and recommend it to family and friends.It has better tartar control than other brands like Colgate (I have personal experience with this, it's not just advertising mumbo jumbo) and this is gentler on your oral tissues than other Crest toothpastes (my wife attests to this). In the past I'd recommended Tom's (w/ fluoride!) or even Colgate for patients with sensitive oral tissue or history of canker sores, but this has worked really well for them, too.I don't know of any toothpaste that really whitens your teeth. If you want that, buy Crest White Strips. Buy toothpaste as a dentifrice for plaque removal and fluoride supplementation.Fabulous toothpaste. Highly recommended.
