Using this to brush my teeth was certainly interesting. I first used it by itself and although it does seem to be effective, I can feel my teeth really smooth after brushing, the thing that's missing is the clean feeling that toothpaste leaves behind. The flavor of this powder is very subtle, imagine chewing on a wrigleys spearmint gum for over an hour. You know how it loses all its flavor and every now and then you get a hint of what you think is the last bit of flavor in that gum? That's what this flavor is like. It's almost there but not quite, just enough to know you've been chewing on that piece of gum for way too long. Because of this, the clean crisp feeling is missing from your mouth so what I have decided to do and has been working perfectly for me is this. I use charcoal toothpaste that has a spearmint flavor, I put a dab on my toothbrush then I dip it into the clay. This combination seems to do the trick. Not only does it clean my teeth but I walk away with that clean crisp feeling in my mouth.
