Started using this about a year ago because my dentist recommended it. I drink a lot of coffee and iced tea so had tons of staining. At my 6 month checkup, she asked if I was using it and commented that I had far fewer stains during my cleaning. Nothing has changed in terms of the amount of coffee/tea I drink, so it seems to be doing its job.Only thing I have noticed is that it doesn't foam as much as I'm used to and feels like it depletes more quickly when brushing, sometimes to the point where I need to reapply or brush twice. I used to use the regular Colgate gel toothpastes, and those foam quite a bit more when the same amount of toothpaste is used.
