I have read the other reviews of this toothpaste, so maybe I can help you decide if you want to buy it buy clearing some stuff up. First, the flavor -- basil and lemon. Some complain that it is "minty" -- well it is and one of the ingredients is menthol, so that explains that. But, overall, the flavor is unique and I don't think "basil" when I use it, but a bit lemony. I really like it and my mouth is refreshed with a cool, unique flavor. Second, people complain that the ingredients at NOT in English on the tube or the box it came in. It is in Korean. But, you can see all the ingredients on the Amazon website. All toothpaste must be formulated to be stable and not grow mold, so some ingredients are part of that. But, I bought it because of the hydroxyapatite part of the formula. This is the latest, modern approach to fighting cavities and it also helps with the enamel of your teeth. I get some fluoride in my municipal drinking water, so I don't need more in my toothpaste but -- hydroxyapatite is a great way to get those benefits. Lastly, some reviews complain that it is expensive. The cost per ounce is not that high and it is about the least expensive toothpaste that has hydroxyapatite. It spending $10 for a tube of toothpaste that will last months that objectionable? I don't think so. Recommended.
