My review is NOT based on quality of ingredients. I bought this brand because It appears to be safer and not full of the microplastics and other nasty ingredients in Colgate and other regular toothpastes in the stores. I even saw some negative review on Tom's of Maine (Mammovation website just did an article on testing many toothpaste brands in the USA). If you hate salty, don't get it. Also, it is somewhat runny (not completely but it fell off my toothbrush 2 out of 3 times so I now hold it down as I wet my toothbrush to get started). I will probably look for a different kind of good toothpaste with Xilotol when I buy next time. I bought 6 tubes of this so it will be a long time lol. i think it is probably a very good toothpaste but my warning is so people can think before they buy. I do not recall noticing any smell or at least not strong. I think this will probably not last as long as more thicker pastes?
