Review:

First off, the metal can containing these was extremely difficult to open. At first I thought I got a defective tin. The part of the tin that covers the outside came off without a problem, but under that there was what looked like another upside down lid inserted into the can that I had to get pliers to remove. But when I tried to put the outer lid back on it didn't have enough friction to stay in place. It turns out that you have to take the piece that was inside the tin, turn it upside down, and insert it into the outer lid. After that, the inserted portion then slides into the tin's body and provides enough friction to keep the tin closed.The tablets themselves are decent. The first time I used one I was totally unprepared for how much foam it would create. I looked like a mad dog, foaming blue at the mouth. In use, you're supposed to chew these and then brush, but I'm never able to chew them up completely before I foam up so much that I have to begin brushing, so I end up spitting several large chunks of unchewed tablet out at the end, which seems like a waste, but is unavoidable. At least so far.The taste is fine. I'm not sensitive to mint and don't have tooth sensitivity, so the overall results are pleasant, both in flavor and in the resulting clean teeth.For me, though, the biggest benefit is that they don't count as a liquid to the travel authorities, like normal toothpaste does. I recently took these on a business trip and was able to save the space in my liquid bag that would normally be occupied by a small tube of toothpaste.Bottom line: these are not perfect, and the packaging is terrible, but that's offset, for me, by the convenience of not having the additional liquid when traveling.
