I purchased the mint one before without the charcoal and it was pretty decent although a little bit salty because of the baking soda. the Nelson Naturals has all naturel ingredient and the baking soda. The charcoal infused I purchased was even better. Not only did it not leave behind a aftertaste like most toothpaste out there and I did not taste the saltiness really at all, probably because the charcoal hides it I'm guessing. some people say it is messy which is true but they warn you about it before hand. If you careful then it is not a problem. Also it can help if you mix the toothpaste. Also it is zero waste which is also great. I do wish however that AMAZON would work towards a more sustainable solution in term of transport and packaging also. To summarize, No saltiness, no aftertaste and zero waste option. I definitely recommend this product and will be buying more when I need it.
