I purchased this after reading an article that said sodium lauryl sulfate can cause cancer sores and dry mouth. I had a couple of episodes where my entire mouth felt like it had been burned. I thought I had an allergy to some food. But I've been using this SLS-free toothpaste for six months now and haven't had any more mouth problems. It's advertised as a travel size, but I've had it for six months and I still haven't used it up. When I don't close the lid tightly the toothpaste can get dried out and hard to expel.
