I had a lot of doubts initially, because it is a very vibrant purple lotion that I was wary of actually staining my teeth purple. It doesn't, although you do need to do an extra rinse or two to be rid of all the vestiges of purple. But it works! After only one use, it took away the yellowish cast of my teeth. I help up a piece of white paper for comparison, and my teeth were definitely not yellow after use. Tastes okay, and in spite of the terrifying neon purple color that looks like it might stain everything in sight, it doesn't, rinses off pretty easily with water, leaving no discoloration.
