I am reviewing: White Charcoal Powder for Teeth Whitening and Brushing - Cleans Teeth Like Whitening Toothpaste, Removes Surface Stains with Natural Ingredients and Freshens Breath. Fluoride-Free, Xylitol, USA-MadeI like that this product is made in the USA. The pot is full of a fine powder that has a little bit of sparkle. Wet the toothbrush and dab it into the powder to pick up some on the brush. Brushing with the powder is not unpleasant. It has a flavor that's OK. Not too strong. It doesn't foam up as much as regular toothpaste does It feels very slightly abrasive, but not in a bad way. I feel like it is getting my teeth clean. Brushing the tongue with it is weird. There is the faintest blue tint, also seen when you're rinsing your mouth. Maybe it's grey, but seems bluish to me. I do get an aftertaste for some time after using the powder. It isn't a good aftertaste, but it isn't horrible. I would think that it makes my breath fresh being as it has charcoal, but maybe because of the aftertaste, I feel like I need to not breath on anyone. That could just be me. I have nobody to test that on.Does it whiten? Well, of course it will take time to see any appreciable improvement, but the blue has at least a temporary effect on the yellowish on my teeth. I don't think I'm imagining that. So I will go with 4 stars.
