Admittedly I am not a child, nor have I used tooth powder before. I was certainly intrigued to try it, no fluoride was a bonus. I prefer toothpastes that do not contain SLS (foaming agents) as they make my lips crack & peel and mouth peel. This powder has absolutely no foaming agents.The powder came with a scoop to apply to your brush. I found it works best if you wet the bristles first. I also found after brushing the bottom teeth, it’s helpful to add an additional scoop of powder to brush before brushing the top teeth. I’ve been using the powder twice daily for four and a half days and barely notice any used. I found adding the scoops directly over the sink makes cleanup a bit easier.I do love the strawberry flavor, it doesn’t burn like some of the mints. It is a sweet strawberry which would appeal to kids.What I do not like about this tooth powder is I feel like I have to floss with both brushings. I typically floss once per day, however with this if I floss first, I find my mouth feels much cleaner.I did try adding this powder on top of my everyday toothpaste and did find it added an additional flavor and cleansing.
