I got this not to replace my tried-and-true fluoride toothpaste but to use in concert with it. I haven't had a cavity in decades and don't have any issues with plaque on my dentist visits. So why add this to my repertoire? Because I am getting older and I have noticed that my teeth occasional chip and such so I am worried about the strength of my teeth. I have read a lot of things talking about how nano Hydroxyapatite toothpaste has been shown to help with that.I have just started using it so I can't really comment on anything like that though. And since this is just a part of my teeth cleaning I can't contribute any real change there. I will say though that it does seem to leave my teeth with a nice clean feeling. I like the minty taste, but it is subtle compared to the fluoride big name brand I have been using. So, if you are looking for a fluoride alternative or just want to add to your arsenal like me, then I do recommend you give this a shot.
