My Fresh Breath Journey with THE DIRT Coconut Oil Toothpaste

Product:

THE DIRT Coconut Oil Toothpaste - Fluoride & Gluten Free - Natural Oral Care for a Refreshing Smile - Cinnna Mint Flavor (35g: 6 Week Supply) Product Detail

Review:

I've only had this toothpaste for a couple of days now, and therefore only had the chance to use it a few times, so it's hard to say whether or not it will be worth it in the long run.The texture- If you're used to normal toothpaste, the texture will be quite odd, and take some getting used to. It's called Dirt for a reason. As you apply it to your teeth, it will feel like a dry paste- almost like rubbing like a thick frosting onto your teeth- if you can imagine that. But as you brush, it will get better, and leaves my teeth feeling like it did what it's supposed to do.The flavor- I was fairly pleased with the flavor. Thinking of a chocolate mint rose for toothpaste seemed a little off-putting when I read it, but it's a rather subtle, and smooth flavor that I don't mind at all. I maybe don't love it, but it's pretty all right, and leaves my mouth feeling refreshed. I strongly despise coconut, and can taste it in just about anything, as this has coconut oil, I was expecting to have to grit and bare it- to my pleasant surprise, I can't taste the coconut at all!The size and ingredients- Though pretty much all of the ingredients are organic- and it does have the added coconut oil, it is very difficult to justify the price for such a small tube (113ml [a little more than 3.4oz]), when you can get a 4oz. tube of Redmon's Earthpaste- which is very similar- for about 5 dollars. My mom uses the Earthpaste, and says it lasts her a couple of months. I will see how long this lasts me, and update this review when I run out.
