I don't know if this product delivers on all of its promises, and to be honest, I'm not sure how to tell. The potential whitening effects would be the most obvious for me except that I am a relentless coffee drinker. However, I still recommend this product as a wonderful alternative to traditional toothpaste. I've tried a variety of alternatives, from gels to powders to tablets, and this brand is consistently the most pleasant experience with the best flavor that leaves my teeth feeling smooth and clean with the least amount of effort. This is the third product from this brand that I have tried, and it is the exact same experience as the others. I am the only one using it, so I wet my toothbrush (shake off the excess water) and dip it in the powder. I find this to be the easiest method, but there is a little scoop included to avoid contamination. Before I actually start brushing, I sort of spread it around a little bit. Not sure it's necessary, but it seems like a good idea. There is no real froth or lather. With moisture, it almost feels like regular paste initially. By nature, it has some grit, but I wouldn't describe it as "gritty." By the time I'm done brushing, it seems that a lot of the product has dissolved, but when a grain does feel like it's lodged between teeth, rinsing is sufficient to release it. I have never had to use floss to remove any residuals with this powder. FYI, I have to use extra soft bristle toothbrushes, and this powder is still more effective than most other products at getting my teeth clean efficiently. I still cycle through different products, but this is my go to if I'm in a hurry. While this product may not fit within everyone's budget, if it does, I can't recommend it enough.
