I saw reviews about too gritty, I disagree I find it more like powder no grit. I prefer it over others I tried that were too minty and over gritty is an understatement on the others I was actually concerned I'm messing the finish of my teeth due to how gritty. I will continue to buy if it continues to work it also tastes pretty good. Only draw back is the purple specks in sink when putting on the brush that easily wash away
