I haven't used this product yet. But I've been using Apagard toothpaste for a couple years now and my tooth sensitivity is greatly reduced. I've glanced over scientific literature on hydroxyapatite and it just makes sense. It is literally what your enamel is made of, so of course it's going to remineralize your teeth.I wanted a concentrated blend so I could use it as a surface treatment for my teeth, similar to fluoride treatments at the dentist. Unlike concentrated fluoride however, concentrated hydroxyapatite is not going to give you acute toxicity, at least in a short time frame. I personally would feel comfortable leaving the paste on the surface of my teeth for an extended period of time to allow the hydroxyapatite to bond to them.I know I wont be disappointed so I feel comfortable reviewing this now.
